Terms and Conditions of Registration for the "Courchevel Opening" Event

Event Organization

The "Courchevel Opening" event, organized by HEAD FRANCE and S3V, offers the public an opportunity to test winter sports equipment provided by participating brands. This test is free for participants who hold a valid ski pass and a test card issued upon registration.

Liability Waiver

  1. Equipment Testing: The participant assumes full responsibility for the use of the equipment during the test. In the event of significant damage to the equipment (e.g., theft or deterioration), the participant may be liable for repair or replacement costs.
  2. Activity Risks: Participation in the test involves certain health risks. The participant acknowledges being aware of these risks and agrees to act responsibly and prudently.
  3. Protective Equipment: Although not mandatory, wearing a helmet is highly recommended.
  4. Personal Responsibility: The participant commits to adjusting their activity level to match their abilities and to adhere to safety rules on the slopes.

Personal Data

The personal data collected during event registration is shared between HEAD FRANCE and S3V for event management, marketing communications, and to enhance participants' experience.

  1. Data Usage: The information collected is necessary for organizing the event, tracking equipment use, and communicating with participants.
  2. Participants' Rights: In accordance with data protection regulations, participants have the right to access, correct, object to, and delete their data. Any requests can be made by email, providing necessary identification information.
  3. Data Retention: Data will be retained for the duration required for event management and legal obligations.
  4. Data Sharing: By accepting these terms, the participant expressly consents to their data being shared between HEAD FRANCE and S3V, as well as with authorized subcontractors of the event, if applicable.

Code of Conduct

  • Equipment Care: Participants must handle equipment carefully and respect the test duration defined by the organizer.
  • Alcohol and Substance Use: Consumption of alcohol or intoxicating substances before and during the test is strictly prohibited.

Image Rights

By participating, the participant agrees to potentially being filmed or photographed and authorizes the use of these media on the event's communication channels (brochures, social media).

Liability

HEAD FRANCE and S3V disclaim all liability for accidents, losses, or theft occurring during the event, within the limits of the applicable laws.

By confirming their registration, participants acknowledge having read and accepted these terms and conditions.
